Biometric Security for Livelink Enterprise Knowledge Management Software

Wisteria IT, LLC and Knowledge Partners, LLC have teamed to design and develop a biometric solution for Open Text Corporation's Livelink Enterprise Knowledge Management software. Using BIO-key International's advanced biometric fingerprint identification technologies and WEB-key application interface, an additional layer of security is added to items in the Livelink workspaces and selected system functions.

LiveID it is not a replacement for Livelink login or permission features. LiveID complements existing Livelink security features and adds an additional layer of security to the Livelink application. LiveID gives additional security options to the Livelink Administrator for system functions and to individual Livelink users for their own folders and documents. When a user sets authentication preferences on a specific Livelink item, all users accessing that item will be prompted for fingerprint authentication before access to the selected item is permitted.
